Dream Home: Master Bed Room

I am so Grateful to God for getting us this Home at "Soham".

Being into meditation from last few years I know word "Soham" itself is so powerful, it produces calm vibration and has capacity to make one do wonders in life.

Decoding the Flat number as twenty and three is the date when God Brought both of us (me and my husband) together to contribute to "Srishti", to create our little world in this Big World. Being Anniversary date it is close to us.

Home is where the heart is, a place where you look forward to reach at the tiring day, on vacation day where you are at home, which keeps you cosy all the time irrespective of weather outside, where Love, peace, beauty, safety, security, togetherness, health and nourishment is available to you, a much needed fuel to lit up the personality to radiate glow.

I wished to convert My Room, Master Bed Room to Master Bedroom Room Suite. I guess I have nailed it with the available resources and within budget.

Here is the tour of my room  😃

My room has wooden brown flooring and a big Window of 6 ft wide. window has white stone framing at the bottom which makes it neat, shiny and lovely. Woodwork done in the room is in combination of Golden Brown and Lavender white with floral pattern Laminate.

Focal wall of the room has two large long framed mirror on either side of the Bed.

On top of them are the two crystal hanging chandelier lights. These chandelier Lights are made up of Crystal rod and flower which Illuminate when these are lit. Shadow of crystal which falls on mirror cast a mesmerizing visual to eye. Play of spreading light over the mirror and wall gives the Royal look to Room. These light surely feel as jewel to this room.

  

Bed has Huge Headboard made up of Cream Leather which is framed in Golden Brown Laminated wooden Frame.

Mirror Frame and top edge of headboard create a rectangle kind of shape on the wall. There is a concealed Led light beneath it. Switching on it highlights the rectangle. This rectangle creates the perfect place to highlight my colourful Artwork a Painting of flowers in a vase.

I made this painting after my marriage, I used to be starry eyed bride back then. It displays beautiful various colour roses pink, red, yellow, orange. Other flower and buds in Blue magenta shades. Painting shows a Vase made of Glass with intricate carving on it. I love my this artwork, though dusty still the feeling of joy it gave me during and after painting fills me with joy every time I look at it.

I love arranging My bed with Pillow shams, cushion and bed sheets, extra thick mattress makes it cosy, Carpet footmat at the very end of Bed compliments it. Often times I and my son enjoy the bed by jumping over it or simply pillow fight.

Bed has 2 inbuilt side table on either side of bed. Both are having two big drawers with floral Laminate.

On one side I have arranged My Carefully picked Make up essential to get ready Fast in delicate artistic plastic Basket. Next to it is the wooden pen stand which I use to keep my Brushes and Comb. I assigned My comb to have home in that pen stand. I had the habit of losing my comb every time I do my hair and then just run around here and there when i need it again and wasting so much time. Now my Vega Comb stays happily in that wooden Pen stand and I keep the discipline to put it back to its home.

I kept a jumbo Sea shell which my husband brought from a pilgrimage travel place. I use it as as a tray to keep my golden watch on it. The Gold of watch and pearl of sea shell just gives the picture from the New Year Greeting cards that I have grown up sending in my childhood days on every yearly occasions. Those days were simply lovely when we used to post the Greeting cards to our relatives on New Year and other festivals. WhatsApp forward have replaced that act these days .I some time wonder how someone would have found it from the bottom of the sea and Did it have Pearls

On Other side table I kept a Conch. This conch is another souvenir from a trip to Kanyakumari. This conch has spike kind of king’s crown and wave’s pattern all over its surface. Looking at the conch simply reminds me of the nonstop play of waves, rising to shore and melt away on the shore another wave arises and it goes on.

Life is like waves. A wave arises plays, reaches to peaks, amuses to those who are watching, indifferent to those who are not and then just melts away. Another Fresh wave arises does the same too.  System just goes on day and night nonstop.

Simply watching the waves is so calming. I remember on another trip to Kanyakumari with my family and parents. I and my mom sat simply watched the waves so long, indulged in the beauty of waves and nonstop show of nature.

My mom is no more, I had only few trips with her travel places Agra, Chandigarh, Rameshwaram, Mumbai and few more of which i have only distant memory. As to any child, my mom was special. Her going away gave us a big lesson how much important it is to live life to its fullest now and at the present moment rather than postponing Happiness. No one know how much we got in our life’s balance. Love you Mom!

Coming back to My Room tour I have a dark bright Pink Roses flower vase on my side table. This again was parallel gift to myself when I took another one for her. These roses just look so real and the vase is my art and craft work with remaining woodpieces from the previous woodwork. Vase has coaster with words "Positive Vibes only" stick to it. Coaster was a freebie during one of my shopping spree on snapdeal. These marketing minds gives a small little things to entice customers to shop more.

On another side of Room Window wall, Big window has long cream colored tailored, pleated and ironed curtain touching the floors. They run on the track which is hidden and under the little raised beam's edge. Window opens to the wall does not have a scenery however gives the privacy to my Room. Curtain being so wide covers almost the entire wall and gives a magnificent look.

On opposite to Bed side of the wall is another focal wall which has TV unit and extended Study table with a mesh Black colour stylish rotating office Chair. Ledges on the TV unit showcased the souvenirs we collected from other trips they have Characteristics of Love and Peace.

On top shelf there is Marble miniature Tajmahal which is so called symbol of Love along with the wooded vase with white acrylic. Green and white Flowers emerging out from white vase gives nice view. I created this vase from the left over pieces of wood when the woodwork was going on and my creative juices were flowing.

On second shelf there is statue of Resting Buddha sitting on top of gold and crystal stand which symbolises Peace.

Next to it is Vase shape stand made up of Metal brass bowl and brass arti.

Lights fitting on TV unit is simply aesthetic. There are concealed Light on the sides while top has raised ledge which has two fitted circular lights. Side lights make the paint on the wall shine. Royale paint on the wall does not go unnoticed. Also it illuminates the souvenirs kept on Ledges. The two circular Light on the Ledge makes the floral pattern on the TV Panel Gleam. Subdued and Subtle colours along with Light makes it awesome. Tv Panel has 2 drawers at the ends and an open shelf at the middle.

Study table showcase a hard cover book a group of flower Vase, a sachet kind of pen stand and an Artistic Pencil. This pencil is catchy one it is a wood stem with Carving on it as "India Innovation Awards". I got it in my old company.

Another side of wall has my closet which is floor to ceiling wardrobe with big huge Sliding Door handle in it are seamless. When closed it just does not gives the feeling that it is cupboard or so it looks like Panel on the wall. It is well lit as the LED lights of false ceiling just makes everything visible. I arranged it neatly too in order to save time and find clothes quickly. I remember the old days while opening the door of closet makes all my clothes flooding out of it.

Top edge of the wardrobe has raised small panel having led lights which makes the panel shine when light falls over it

My room has little entrance lobby as well which just has the same design of crystal chandelier lights but on wall. Light falling over the wall gives its otherwise bare wall an artistic look.

In short I find this place entirely for myself to air my imagination and creativity.
